Germany - Strike Risk Locomotive Drivers
There is a very high risk that rail operation via ports of HAM,BHV,RTM,ANR to/from Germany and also transit into PL,HU,CZ,SK,AT,CH via German ports may be seriously affected. Union has prepared already to go on strike as of WED this week if no last minute agreement can be fixed. Taking the big gap between the positions of Deutsche Bahn and the Union into consideration, this looks rather unlikely.
As a consequence there might not only be a big impact on rail transports but also the other modes of transports may not perform the same way when it will be tried to shift volumes to other, already limited, transport modes.
