In the year 2005 we coordinated the transport of a 95 ton machinery from Vizcaya in Spain up to Celaya Guanajuato México.
Our customer required to move a press for automotive manufacturing and assembly, with a fair cost and in an urgent manner as they had just signed some very important deals with the biggest car industries.
Our main task was to design a critical route of this movement from the origin up to final destination to prevent the possible failures and risks, so we were prepared with corrective actions catalogue.
We analized several seafreight transport options together with the customer and finally selected the best one based in security, costs and transit time arguments.
The main points were: weather, machinery characteristics, packing, documentation, kind of vessel, port facilities, transit times, loading and unloading procedures, customs clearance, handling and of course costs.
The result of our analisis allowed to take the correct decisions in the critical moments, thanks that we counted with necessary information as pictures, good packing and correct documentation.
In Mardin we are sure that team work with customs brokers, shipping companies, terminals, warehouses, customer, exporter, etc. a better coordination is obtained.
The most important task for Mardin is to protect the interests of our customer and gain his confidence, explaining every step and every point of the loading and shipping procedures to avoid discrepancies during the process. It is highly important for us that the customer is comfortable because he knows the necessary information to program purchases and achieve his goals.
Up to date, this press is already working, helping our customer to achive his production goals and even more satisfactory is to know it is generating new employments in this Mexican Area.
